Connected Jurisdictions for Auto LEI Issuance

LEIpapa provides a feature for automatic LEI registration for some jurisdictions. This is a fast-track service allowing LEI applicants to get their LEI faster and easier.

LEIpapa provides a feature for automatic LEI registration for the following jurisdictions:

  • 🇦🇹 Austria (AT)
  • 🇨🇦 Canada (CA)
  • 🇩🇰 Denmark (DK)
  • 🇪🇪 Estonia (EE)
  • 🇫🇮 Finland (FI)
  • 🇬🇱 Greenland (GL)
  • 🇱🇺 Luxembourg (LU)
  • 🇳🇴 Norway (NO)
  • 🇵🇱 Poland (PL)
  • 🇸🇬 Singapore (SG)
  • 🇸🇪 Sweden (SE)
  • 🇬🇧 United Kingdom (GB)
  • 🇺🇸 United States (US)

In the case of automatic LEI registration, the online LEI application requires only your company name and locality, and from there we connect directly to your local business registries to auto-fill the remainder of the application.

If your entity is registered in any of the jurisdictions mentioned above but doesn’t appear during automatic pre-search (this could happen for some funds, trusts, etc.), please use fields for manual registration and specify the exact full company name and the number.

If your entity is registered in any jurisdiction other than those mentioned above, please use fields for manual registration and specify the exact full company name and the number.

For the manual registration scenario, we request LEI applicants to upload the company’s registration certificate and other documents confirming their power to act on behalf of the entity (such as a business register extract). Please review this article to check if you are also required to provide a letter of authorization.
