LEI (or LEI number, or LEI code) – the Legal Entity Identifier which is a unique identification code for legally independent entities. This is a 20-character, alpha-numeric code based on the ISO 17442 standard.

Local Operating Unit (LOU) – Ubisecure OY, acting as RapidLEI.

Website – a set of the data and information available at leipapa.com, its domains, and subdomains.

Service – set of services provided by LEIpapa to request, manage and apply for the issuance of LEI(s) via the Website.

You, Client, LEI applicant – the user of LEIpapa Service available on the Website.

Agreement – a commitment that constitutes the entire agreement between the Client and the LEIpapa and governs the use of the Service.

Order – Client's instruction to LEIpapa related to the issuance, renewal, or transfer LEI(s).

Purchases

When You place an order, You will be asked to provide Your banking card information and billing address to the payment provider(s). LEIpapa does not store and has no access to your banking card information! The banking card information is stored by the payment provider(s).

Customer Service

If You contact Our customer service, We may ask for information such as Your name, e-mail address, mailing address, telephone number, order number, and, if You choose to make a purchase, your banking card information. We use this information to assist You and process Your transaction.

We use analytics tools specified below to help us understand visitor trends and the effectiveness of our marketing outreach. We chose privacy-focused companies and platforms that eschew personally identifiable information in favor of anonymous aggregate data.

We run GoatCounter analytics and Beam analytics. The following information is collected:

• Device type. We use this to understand what devices people use when visiting this website. This is derived from window.innerWidth. The actual width of the browser in pixels is discarded. For example: Desktop.
• Visitor Country. We look up the visitor’s country using the IP address. We do not track anything more granular than the country of origin and the IP address of the visitor is discarded. We never store IP addresses in our database or logs. For example: Canada.

LEIpapa stands against user personal identification, usually performed by big IT companies such as Google, Meta, Microsoft, etc. That’s why we use only GDPR-friendly analytics tools that don’t identify your personal data when you visit LEIpapa.

LEIpapa doesn’t claim any ownership in any content that You upload on the Website, through an application, blog, or via any form of social media channel (including by submitting an image to Your social media using the hashtags #leipapa) (“User Content”). After posting User Content, You retain the ownership right to all content, but You hereby grant to LEIpapa an irrevocable, fully paid, worldwide, non-exclusive limited license to modify, publicly perform, display, reproduce, distribute, transmit, and copy the User Content on the LEIpapa Website, LEIpapa app, mobile website, email, and all applicable social channels, including but not limited to Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, and Instagram.

Accordingly, You represent and warrant that You own all rights to the User Content that You upload to the Website, and it doesn’t infringe on any other intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights.

LEIpapa reserves the right to remove any User Content from the Website for any reason without prior notice.

The above services we use to take appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative steps to maintain the security and accuracy of the information LEIpapa collects. In addition, it is Our policy to never send your banking card information via e-mail. Please note that e-mail is not encrypted and is not considered to be a secure means of transmitting banking card information.

We use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process Your orders. The SSL encrypts or translates Your order information into highly indecipherable code, which is processed immediately. The page address (URL) must always be “HTTPS” meaning you are in a secure area. Also, a key or a closed lock will appear in the page address (URL) field to notify You of this.
